Daemen University Athletics

Hailing from Nigeria, Alex Nwora established himself as one of the greatest players in the history of the Daemen men’s basketball program during a four-year career from 1989-93. In 120 games, he tallied 1,514 points and 1,103 rebounds - the first player in program history with at least 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds. He was an honorable mention All-American and named to the NAIA District 18 First Team for the 1992-93 season. He was inducted into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 1993.
