Inducted into the Daemen Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004, Michelle Bloom was a standout performer for the Daemen women’s cross country team from 2001-04. She achieved four first-place finishes in her career and her personal-best 5K time of 19:10 stood as a program record at the time. A two-time team MVP (2003, 2004), Bloom was an honorable mention All-AMC pick in 2003 before ascending to the All-AMC Second Team in 2004. She was a two-time NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete (2003, 2004) as well as a two-time participant in the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships (2003, 2004).
