Graduating Student-Athlete Profile: Nick MacDonald

Leading up to Daemen University's commencement ceremonies this weekend, daemenwildcats.com is profiling several student-athletes who have completed their academic coursework and/or athletic eligibility.

After beginning his career at Division I Niagara University, Nick MacDonald became an integral contributor at Daemen, where he played for his father, head coach Mike MacDonald. Over the course of three seasons with the Wildcats, the younger MacDonald appeared in all 91 of the team's games, while making 65 starts and leading the team to an impressive 65-26 overall record. He averaged 10.1 points and finished second in program history for career free throw percentage (.866). Including his time at Niagara, MacDonald played in 143 collegiate games and totaled 1,119 points and 364 rebounds.
