Week Of Honors: Women's Soccer Team Awards

As part of the Wildcat Week of Honors, Daemen College head women's soccer coach Dan Dolan announced his team's awards for the 2019 season today. The Wildcat Week of Honors is being held May 4-8 as a way to virtually celebrate the accomplishments of Daemen's teams and student-athletes.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Named team MVP for the fourth consecutive season after leading the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA tournament berth and the most wins of the program's NCAA Division II era
One of two players to appear in and start all 18 games
Led team in goals (18) and points (37) for the fourth consecutive season; ranked second in goals and third in points among the East Coast Conference leaders
Had five multi-goal games and totaled seven game-winning goals
Became just the third player in team history to reach the 100-point milestone during her three-goal outing Sept. 18 vs. Nyack
Became program's all-time leading goal scorer when she scored her 55th career goal Nov. 9 vs. St. Thomas Aquinas
Named to the All-ECC First Team for the second consecutive season; also earned All-East Region honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association and the United Soccer Coaches, as well as a second selection to the Scholar All-East Region Team
Appeared in and started all 68 games since the start of the 2016 season, finishing her career with 55 goals, 11 assists and 121 points

Appeared in all 18 games and made 17 starts while helping the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA tournament berth and the most wins of the program's NCAA Division II era
Finished second on the team in goals (6), assists (5) and points (17) - all career-high totals (325% increase in points from her freshman season)
Ranked in the top 10 of East Coast Conference leaders in goals (9th), assists (6th) and points (7th)
Scored four goals and recorded three assists during the team's eight-game unbeaten streak to start the season - tied for the longest unbeaten streak in program history
Named to the All-ECC Third Team

WILDCAT AWARD

Appeared in and started 17 games while helping the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA tournament berth and the most wins of the program's NCAA Division II era
Anchored a defensive unit that pitched a program record eight shutouts in 2019, allowing just 13 goals in the regular season (also a program record)
Named to the All-ECC Third Team for the second consecutive season
A three-year starter, D'Agostino has appeared in 48 of a possible 52 games over the last three seasons, helping Daemen to a 28-19-5 overall record
