Women's Tennis Drops Match Against Molloy

EAST MEADOW, N.Y.- The Daemen College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to East Coast Conference (ECC) opponent Molloy College today. With the loss, Daemen falls to 3-5 (1-4 ECC) on the season while the Lions improved to 4-5 overall (1-3 ECC).

The No. 3 doubles team of sophomore Shaylah Iverson (Canandaigua, N.Y./Naples)  and freshman Maria McGrath (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) were Daemen's best chance to get a mark in the win column, however, they came up short in an 8-4 conclusion.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back quickly as they face another ECC competitor, Queens College, tomorrow (Sept. 28) in Flushing, N.Y. at 11am.
