Student-Athlete Advisory Committee The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) provides Daemen varsity athletes with a substantial role in the overall Daemen Athletics and East Coast Conference policy-formation processes, as well as helping to build the athletic, university and overall Daemen communities. Specific responsibilities of the SAAC are to advise the department on issues of importance to student-athletes and to help carryout community-building events. SAAC is comprised of multiple student-athletes from each varsity team. SAAC members develop leadership skills both inside and outside the field of competition, helping them to advocate for student-athlete well-being.
