WASHINTON, D.C. - The Daemen College men's tennis team dropped their fourth straight match today at the hands of East Coast Conference opponent the University of the District of Columbia who came away with a 7-2 decision.
"Playing our first time outdoors all year we were a little flat in the doubles. In the singles we competed hard and were in a lot of the matches but we still need to work on closing out the big points," said head coachÂ

Zach Kinnaird (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) and
John Wilson (Seneca Falls, N.Y. / Mynderse) won by default in No. 3 doubles by while Kinnaird also took No. 6 singles by default.
With the victory, the Firebirds improved to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the conference while the Wildcats fell to 3-8 on the season.
Daemen returns to action tomorrow (March 22) as they travel to Philadelphia to face off against non-conference contender the University of the Sciences Devils with a scheduled start time of 1 p.m.
