FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's tennis team fell 7-2 in a East Coast Conference match to the Queens College Knights this evening. The loss dropped them to 7-13 overall (1-3 ECC) while the hosts improved to 11-4 on the season (3-1 ECC).
"After a long day of travel we played Queens today and competed really well," head coach
Stephen Beatty said. "I was super happy with how hard we fought and we will be prepared to battle St. Thomas Aquinas College tomorrow."

Gregory Lowe (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and
Zach Kinnaird (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) got the Wildcats on the board with an 8-4 defeat of Queens' Kevin Burgess and Howard Wong at No. 3 doubles.
John Wilson (Seneca Falls, N.Y. / Mynderse) was the only Wildcat to break through in singles action, winning his No. 6 singles matchup against the Wong, 6-4, 6-1.
The Wildcats compete against another East Coast Conference opponent tomorrow (Apr. 12) at 10 a.m. as they take on the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.
