CALDWELL, N.J. - The Daemen College women's tennis team bounced back today by defeating Caldwell University, 5-4, on the road in a non-conference match. With this win, the Wildcats move to 4-6 overall this season. Caldwell, an affiliate of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, falls to 2-6 this season with today's loss.

Hayle Scanlan (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian) bounced back from dropping the doubles competition she battled in earlier in the day, with
Karli Hollins (Orchard Park, N.Y./SUNY Geneseo) by her side, by coming out on top in singles competition, 7-8 and 6-4, in the No. 2 slot versus CU's Rebecca Ryan.
Jessica Robins (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda) also came back from defeat as she fell in doubles competition with
Gretchen Ringler (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda) but followed it with a win in singles, 6-0 and 7-5, over CU's Sara Riccardi in the No. 4 position.
.
