McColl Announces Men's Soccer Summer Camp Offering

AMHERST, N.Y. - Daemen College Head Men's Soccer Coach Bobby McColl announced today that he and his coaching staff will conduct a one-day individual development camp this summer.

The camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, is open to boys entering grades 11 and 12 this fall.  Dimp Wagner Stadium, the home venue for the Daemen men's soccer program, will serve as the site of the camp.

The camp is designed to give juniors and seniors an opportunity to work with the Daemen coaching staff and display their talent.  Participants will be put through training sessions that the coaching staff uses with the Division II student-athletes at Daemen, and the camp is an excellent opportunity to be evaluated by the Daemen coaching staff.

Participants can also expect intense individual technical training, advanced tactical training, fitness, speed and agility training, and a better understanding of the Daemen men's soccer program.

Details on the camp, including a full description of the day's activities, bios on the camp staff and coast of attendance can be found at the newly launched Daemen Men's Soccer Camp website.  Online registration is also available there.

All Daemen College sports camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants.  Each camp may limit registration only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.  Futher, NCAA rules prohibit representatives of Daemen's athletics interests (a booster) who is not naturally or legally responsible for a prospective student-athlete (grades 9-12) from providing any expenses to attend a camp or clinic.
