AMHERST, N.Y. - Daemen College Head Women's Basketball Coach
Jenepher Banker announced a trio of upcoming summer camp offerings to be held on campus for area youths in the coming months.
Banker and her staff will conduct one week of traditional basketball day camp, running from June 27 through July 1. In addition, a one-day shooting clinic will be held on Saturday, July 2 and the program's ongoing series entitled Wednesday Night Hoops begins June 29 and runs through August 3.
Hours for the traditional basketball day camp are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with early drop-off and late pick-up available at no extra cost. The camp is open to girls entering grades 4-12 and the cost is $175 for the entire week.
The Wildcat Shooting Camp on July 2 offers three separate two-hour sessions at a cost of $35 per session. The camp is open to girls entering grades 5-12, and will focus on the fundamentals of shooting with instruction for the beginning, intermediate and advanced basketball player.
Wednesday Night Hoops is an hour-and-a-half session which will be conducted on June 29, July 13, July 20 and August 3. The cost for this camp is $100 (includes all four sessions) and it gives girls entering grades 7-12 the opportunity to participate in a practice-like setting with members of the Daemen coaching staff. Space in Wednesday Night Hoops is limited to maximize the learning experience.
