In addition, Ellory Roberts (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) earned second-team All-ECC honors in three separate events, while Ashley Cheff (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Falls) and Mackenzie Donahue (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) each picked up second-team honors as well. All-conference honors are determined based on athletes' performances at the conference championship meet which was held on April 23 in Rochester, N.Y. on the campus of Roberts Wesleyan College. Trabert, a sophomore, and Kress, a freshman, each claimed individual titles for the Wildcats to pave their way to first-team All-ECC honors. Trabert kicked off the day by placing first in the 10,000 meter run with a conference-record time of 40:10.13, knocking 1:30 off the previous record. It also went in the books as a Daemen record, that is until she bettered the time by more than two-and-a-half minutes five days later at the Penn Relays Carnival. Kress placed first in the pole vault by clearing 2.75 meters. Johnson, a freshman thrower, was the second place finisher in the discus leading to her first-team selection. She had a long toss of 30.45 meters in the event. She was joined by her throwing counterpart Roberts, also a freshman, who earned second-team All-ECC honors in the shot put, hammer throw and discus. She placed fourth in each event with throws of 9.57 meters, 30.98 meters and 28.81 meters, respectively. Back on the track, Cheff was a second-team selection after finishing third in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:50.18. Additionally, Donahue placed fourth in the 1,500 meter run to earn second-team honors. Her time of 4:52.05 was just four seconds off the school-record time she had set just a week earlier at the Westminster Invitational. It's the third straight outdoor season with an all-conference award for Donahue. She was a second-team pick in the 5,000 meter run in 2014, and earned first-team honors in that event last season.
