Dolan Announces Soccer Summer Camp Offerings

AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen College women's soccer program will conduct a pair of summer camps for area youths in the coming months, Head Women's Soccer Coach Dan Dolan announced today.  Camp offerings include the week-long Junior Wildcats Summer Camp and a one-day Individual Development Camp.

The Junior Wildcats Summer Camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from July 11-15, is open to boys and girls ages 5-14 at a cost of $199 for the entire week.  The Junior Wildcats Summer Camp places a strong emphasis on all of the fundamentals of soccer and is designed to accommodate beginners, intermediate or advanced level players.  Family and team discounts are available.

The Individual Development Camp on July 30 is aimed to give girls entering grades 9-12 an opportunity to work with the Daemen coaching staff and display their talent at a cost of $65.  Participants will be put through training sessions that the coaching staff uses with the Division II student-athletes at Daemen, and the camp is an excellent opportunity to be evaluated by the Daemen coaching staff.

Participants in the Individual Development Camp can also expect intense individual technical training, advanced tactical training, fitness, speed and agility training, and a better understanding of the Daemen men's soccer program.

Dimp Wagner Stadium, the home venue for the Daemen men's and women's soccer programs, will serve as the site of both camps, although drop-off and pick-up will occur at Daemen's Academic and Wellness Center

Details on both camps can be found in their respective brochure and flyer.  Online registration is also available for the Individual Development Camp only.

All Daemen College sports camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants.  Each camp may limit registration only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.  Futher, NCAA rules prohibit representatives of Daemen's athletics interests (a booster) who is not naturally or legally responsible for a prospective student-athlete (grades 9-12) from providing any expenses to attend a camp or clinic.
