Week Of Honors: Men's Basketball Team Awards

As part of the Wildcat Week of Honors, Daemen College head men's basketball coach Mike MacDonald announced his team's awards for the 2019-20 season today. The Wildcat Week of Honors is being held May 4-8 as a way to virtually celebrate the accomplishments of Daemen's teams and student-athletes.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Appeared in 31 games and produced 24.9 points and 11.7 rebounds per game
East Coast Conference Player of the Year (second straight year) & First Team All-ECC (third straight year)
D2CCA East Region Player of the Year & First Team All-Region / NABC First Team All-District
D2CCA First Team All-American / NABC All-American Team
Finalist for the Bevo Francis Award given annually to the best Small College Basketball player in the country
Five-time ECC Player of the Week / two-time USBWA Division II National Player of the Week
Ranked among Division II statistical leaders in double-doubles (1st), rebounds per game (2nd), points per game (8th) and field goal percentage (10th)
Set Daemen and ECC records for total points (773) and field goals made (298) in a single season
Set Daemen single game scoring record with 47 points vs. Queens on March 4
