Week Of Honors: Women's Basketball Team Awards

As part of the Wildcat Week of Honors, Daemen College head women's basketball coach Jenepher Banker announced her team's awards for the 2019-20 season today. The Wildcat Week of Honors is being held May 4-8 as a way to virtually celebrate the accomplishments of Daemen's teams and student-athletes.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Appeared in and started all 28 games, leading the Wildcats to a share of the ECC regular season title as well as the ECC tournament championship and the program's first bid to the NCAA tournament
Led the team in points (14.4), assists (3.7) and minutes (35.3) per game; ranked in the top five of the ECC in each of those statistical categories
Scored 38 points vs. Nova Southeastern - highest single-game total for any ECC player this season / most for a Daemen player since Raeann Stilwell scored 36 points on Jan. 6, 2014
Two-time ECC Player of the Week
Named to the All-ECC First Team (second All-ECC selection of her career)
Named to the ECC Championship All-Tournament Team
