CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - Daemen College fifth-year senior Brett Smith (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne Central) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Smith took fourth place in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 16:25.86 at the University of Rochester Spring Invitational this past weekend.  He joins William Kemp-Harris of Roberts Wesleyan College as the ECC's honorees for the week.

The Daemen College men's track and field team will be back in action this weekend at the Roc City Classic hosted by Nazareth College.
