Week Of Honors: Female Athlete of the Year

As part of the Wildcat Week of Honors, John Murphy, co-host of One Bills Live and radio voice of the Buffalo Bills, virtually presented the Female Athlete of the Year Award for the 2019-20 season today. The Wildcat Week of Honors is being held May 4-8 as a way to virtually celebrate the accomplishments of Daemen's teams and student-athletes.

Awarded annually to the female student-athlete deemed to have had the most outstanding season

Named Female Athlete of the Year for the second straight season
Led the Wildcats to their first-ever NCAA tournament berth and the most wins (11) of the program's NCAA Division II era
Named team MVP for the fourth straight season
Led team in goals (18) and points (37) for the fourth consecutive season; ranked second in goals and third in points among the East Coast Conference leaders
Had five multi-goal games and totaled seven game-winning goals
Became just the third player in team history to reach the 100-point milestone during her three-goal outing Sept. 18 vs. Nyack
Became program's all-time leading goal scorer when she scored her 55th career goal Nov. 9 vs. St. Thomas Aquinas
Named to the All-ECC First Team for the second consecutive season; also earned All-East Region honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association and the United Soccer Coaches, as well as a second selection to the Scholar All-East Region Team
Appeared in and started all 68 games since the start of the 2016 season, finishing her career with 55 goals, 11 assists and 121 points
