Koerber is named the Female Athlete of the Month for September after making quite the impact in her first month on campus. In helping the Wildcats to an 11-4 overall record and a 3-0 record in ECC play, Koerber leads the team with 177 kills, averaging 3.85 kills per set which ranks third in the league. She has led the Wildcats offensively in eight matches this season, and has totaled eight double-doubles (kills-digs) on the year. 
 
Averaging 4.59 points per set, Koerber recorded a season high 21 kills vs. New Haven on September 16. The team leader in service aces on the year (26), the freshman has recorded an ace in all but one of the 13 matches that she's played in this season. Koerber has earned ECC weekly awards for four consecutive weeks, being named the ECC Player of the Week twice and ECC Rookie of the Week twice so far this season. She has helped the Wildcats stay undefeated in conference play.
