Jennifer Kinyon

In early September of 2015, Jennifer Kinyon was appointed as the first Head Women's Bowling Coach for Daemen College, taking the reins of the Wildcats' newly-established program which competes in the East Coast Conference of NCAA Division II.

Kinyon comes to Daemen with a background in education as well as external operations in the realm of collegiate and professional sports.  She has been previously employed as a teacher at Nardin Academy and DeSales Catholic School, and has also worked as a faculty advisor at Niagara County Community College.  Prior to entering the education field, Kinyon worked as the sales coordinator for the Buffalo Bisons, a AAA professional baseball club, and also as the ticket manager and external affairs assistant in the athletic department at Canisius College.

Kinyon brings a wealth of personal bowling experience to her coaching position at Daemen.  The Lockport, N.Y. native was a six-year member of the Lockport High School bowling team, leading the Lady Lions to four Niagara Frontier League championships.  She was voted as a first-team All-NFL performer in her final three seasons, the last of which ended with Lockport winning the Section VI and New York State championships.  She was inducted into the Lockport High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.

Kinyon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from Canisius College.  Since fulfilling her undergraduate work, she's gone on to add three Master of Science Degrees, and is currently working on a fourth.  She holds M.S. Degrees from Niagara University (Education, 2005) and Canisius College (Educational Leadership, 2013; Educational Technology and Emerging Media, 2015).  She continues work towards her M.S. in Sports Administration, also from Canisius.
