Daemen Dishes 41 Assists During 113-31 Triumph At Fisher

Box Score LYNN, MA - All 14 players scored and the Daemen Wildcats dished out a team record 41 assists during a 113-31 pasting of the host Fisher Falcons this afternoon at Fectau-Leary High School. With the win, Daemen sweeps the season series with Fisher and remains unbeaten (7-0) in American Mideast Conference play, while improving to 16-4 overall. Fisher falls to 0-20 on the season.

The Wildcats raced out to a 19-0 lead and never looked back. Daemen led 58-15 at the half and used 60% shooting in the second half (24-for-40) to out-score the hosts 55-16 in that period.

Junior center Monica Kosior led a quintet of double figure scorers with a team-high 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting from the field. Junior guard Sam Stanfield was next as she tied a career high with 16 points to go with six rebounds and five steals. Ellie Allen and Chelsea Andorka split 22 points between them while freshman Jordyn Broas added 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds.

Daemen's record assist total came on 50 total field goals. Sophomore Lindsay Stoddard led the way with a career-best 12 dimes. In addition to their assist total, the Wildcats forced Fisher into 22 turnovers and enjoyed a 62-27 advantage on the backboard as the Falcons managed just 15% shooting for the game (10-for-64).

Daemen returns to action tomorrow afternoon in a non-conference matchup with the College of St. Joseph in Rutland, VT. Tipoff is set for noon.
