Daemen: Â Stephanie Albano enters her first season as the head women's volleyball coach at Daemen...she was promoted to the position after serving as the Associate Head Coach in 2015...a Western New York native, she led Lancaster High School to the 2004 New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class AA championship...she went on to help the University of North-Carolina-Chapel Hill capture two Atlantic Coast Conference championships throughout her college career (2005-2009)...previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Buffalo in 2014...helped the Bulls to a 17-15 record and the program's first Mid-American Conference Tournament appearance since 2010...began her coaching debut at Canisius College as an assistant from 2009-10...later was the Associate Head Coach at Medaille from 2012-2014...helped the Mavericks earn their first ever AMCC championship and NCAA tournament appearance..assisted by 2014 Daemen graduate Kaley Vazquez and Don Gleason.
Franklin Pierce:  Stephanie Dragan entered her eighth season as head coach at Franklin Pierce in 2016…in 7 season at Franklin Pierce, she has posted an 97-97 record over 194 matches to push her career record to 318-337 as a collegiate head coach…she also serves as the senior woman administrator at the University...previously she was the chair of the NCAA Division II East Region Women's Volleyball Committee (2011-13)…in 2015 led the Ravens to 18-11 overall mark and 12-2 record in conference play, which were the best marks during her tenure as head coach…first coach in program history to guide a team to NCAA Championship berth…spent four years as head coach at Western Carolina University…before that, she was the head coach at Centre College for seven years…1994 graduate of Shawnee State University, where she earned a B.A. and was a phenomenal setter on the volleyball team.
Mercy:  Georgia Efthalitsides began her first season at the helm for the Mavericks…a 2006 Mercy College graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice…currently, she also serves as the head coach and club director of Alpha Gamma Juniors Volleyball Club in Sleepy Hollow…previously, she served as the head volleyball coach at The College of New Rochelle (2009-2014)…led the Blue Angels to four conference championships, which included two undefeated seasons…named Coach of the Year for both seasons…starting her collegiate coaching career with a one-year stint at Nyack College as an assistant coach…also held the position of varsity head coach at The Ursuline School (2006-2011).
Saint Anselm:  Braden Zamore is in his second season as the head coach for the Hawks…previously served as head coach of both men's and women's volleyball programs at NCAA Division III Daniel Webster College… he led the women's team to three consecutive New England Collegiate Conference championships and NECC Tournament Champs in 2009…revived the men's program after a 10-year hiatus…named NECC Women's Coach of the Year (2009, 2010) and NECC Men's Coach of the Year (2010, 2013)…a 2007 graduate of Southern Maine where he earned a B.A. in communications…an active member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association. |

| Daemen returns seven players to the 2016 squad while adding seven new faces...four starters return as well as the Wildcats' top libero...the Wildcats were recently voted to finish fourth in the East Conference this season, according to the ECC preseason poll, after compiling a 12-17 overall and 7-9 conference record in 2015...ECC Rookie of the Year Ashley Drzymala, returns as a powerhouse outside hitter after a stellar freshman season...Drzymala led the league in both kills per set (3.60) and service aces per set (0.51) while racking up 12 double-doubles...the Wildcats also welcome back her sister, senior leader Amber Drzymala who finished second on the team in total attacks (934), kills (257) and kills per set (2.60)...junior Katie Mckrell returns at the setting position...the three-time ECC Setter of the Week in 2015 became the fifth player in team history to reach over 1,000 helpers in a single season...rounding out the returning starters is junior middle blocker/right-side hitter Rachel Stephenson who registered 31 blocks, ranking second behind graduate Ye Wang in 2015...sophomore libero Kailey Ballou is back after a strong defensive showing in 2015, highlighting the season with a pair of 22-dig performances...seven newcomers include four who have state championships under their belt, a Division I transfer, a strong setter from a commanding Colorado program, and a 6-foot-2 Romanian Junior National Team player...after going 5-3 over their first eight matches, Daemen has gone 1-2 since Sept. 14...a grueling five-set defeat at Le Moyne opened the span....Daemen held a 2-0 lead before Le Moyne rallied for the five-set victory...Amber Drzymala (18 kills, 12 digs), Ashley Drzymala (11 kills, 14 digs) and Bailey Dolegowski (52 assists, 15 digs) posted double-doubles for Daemen in defeat...the Wildcats rebounded with a 3-0 win at California (Pa.) on Sept. 17...the Drzymala sisters combined for 26 kills while Dolegowski registered 32 assists in the win...Dolegowski (Setter of the Week) and Amber Drzymala (Player of the Week) earned weekly honors from the ECC for Sept. 12-19...Daemen has gone 2-1 since Sept. 17, to be 8-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference action…they opened with a three-set loss to a Gannon team that advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament last season… Daemen was led by Ashley Drzymala's 13 kills, eight digs and two service aces…the middle-blocking duo of Cristina Apostol and Courtney Bernardrecorded three-blocks apiece, good for season-highs...the Wildcats jumped into ECC play, beating hosts Molloy and Queens College on Sept. 24 and 25…Courtney Bernard paved the way in the win over Molloy with 8 kills, good for a season-high .800 hitting percentage… Daemen rallied for a 3-2 victory over Queens after dropping the first two sets…Ashley Drzymala led the Wildcats with a team-high 12 kills, two service aces, eight digs and three blocks…her sister Amber Drzymala added nine kills, three aces and a team-high 15 digs…The Wildcats are 8-1 for the month of October, their only loss was to conference leader NYIT…the eight-match winning streak is the longest for Daemen since it posted 15-straight wins during the 2013 season…the Wildcats are coming off a weekend sweep of Molloy and Queens College, they currently rank 1st in the ECC alongside Bridgeport…against Molloy Ashley Drzymala, Amber Drzymala and Cristina Apostol registered nine, nine, and eight kills respectively…Kailey Ballou had a team-high 14 digs, and Bailey Dolegowski recorded a double-double with 19 assists and 10 digs…in the win over Queens the Drzymala duo each posted double-double performances…Amber had 15 kills and 16 digs, while sister Ashley tallied 11 kills and 11 digs…Dolegowski registered her eight career double-double with 37 assists and 11 digs…the Drzymala sisters continue to shine both offensively and defensively this season… Ashley leads the team in kills (291) and kills per set (3.38), ranking second and fourth respectively, among all ECC players ...Amber ranks fourth in the ECC in kills (251) and seventh in kills per set (2.99)…her 244 digs ranks first on the team…for her career to date, Amber has posted 1066 digs and 920 kills…Dolegowski has paced the Daemen setters with 728 assists, she ranks fourth in the ECC in assists per set (9.10)…she sits fourth in the conference in service aces per set (0.41)…Bailey has also been ECC Rookie of the Week two times this season…Megan Ballou has also been ECC Rookie of the week, Daemen has won this award three times, the most in the league…Megan leads the team in blocks with 32 and has reached 101 kills…additional production has come from Courtney Scanlan (168 kills, .237 hitting percentage), Apostol (94 kills, 30 blocks) Sydney Macinnis (176 assists), Kailey Ballou (207 digs). |

| FRANKLIN PIERCE SCOUTING REPORT (5-9, 1-2 NE-10) |
| The Ravens returned nearly all the significant pieces from a team that qualified for the NCAA Championship East Regional in 2015…they returned six of their seven top offensive threats, and welcomed five freshman…FPU finished 18-11 overall and 12-2 in the Northeast-10 last season…FPU advanced to the conference quarterfinals for the fourth straight year and dropped their quarterfinal game 3-1 to New Haven….they were slated second in the NE-10 Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll this year…key returners include, 2015 NE-10 Rookie of the Year, Katie Leidhold and All-Rookie Team member Abigal Sonuga…Leidhold led the team with 344 kills, which was good enough for fifth in the conference…Sonuga averaged 0.84 blocks per set, putting up the top mark on the team in 2015…in 2015 the Ravens are 5-9 overall and 1-2 in the league, they currently sit in 10th place…FPU opened up their 2016 campaign with four straight losses in the Courtyard by Marriott Volleyball Classic, before securing their first win over Holy Family in three sets…the Ravens finished 8-5 for the month of September after a rocky start…in NE-10 action, they swept Southern New Hampshire to capture their first conference win…Leidhold led the way with 16 kills and 19 digs, her fifth straight contest with double-digit kills and digs…Sonuga added nine kills with two blocks…junior setter Hannah Runge dished out 30 assists…Franklin Pierce is coming off of a three-game losing streak (Bridgeport, New Haven, Saint Anselm)…Leidhold and Sonuga continue to lead the Raven offense with 179 and 116 total kills respectively…Ledihold ranks third in kills per set (3.37) and Sonuga ranks third in blocks per set (1.06) in the league…Runge continues to pace the offense with 370 helpers in the season thus far…sophomore Libero Brittney Carias has tallied a team-high 241 digs. |

| The Mavericks returned nine players from last season, and welcomed two newcomers to the 2016 squad…Mercy was picked to finish seventh in the ECC in the preseason poll, they finished 7-26 overall and 2-14 in the league a year ago…leading the cast of returners is sophomore Peyton Olson who paced the team in kills in 2015 with 365…also back is junior Sa'Naya Johnson who was second on the team with 210 kills and 86 blocks in 32 matches…sophomore Brianna Heffernan is back after dominating the defense with 472 digs, while sophomore setters Brooke Runge and Toni Parente return after finishing with 329 and 306 assists respectively…Mercy currently sits at 2-9 overall and 1-4 in the league…they began the 2016 slate with six straight losses, to finish the month of September 6-1…the Mavericks picked up the first win of the season over ECC foe Molloy 3-1…Olson had a match high 22 kills and Heffernan tallied a match-high 21 digs…this was also the first win for Efthalitsides as head coach of the Mavericks…Mercy dropped three straight games (Saint Anselm, American Int'l and LIU Post) before earning their second win over Salem Int'l…Johnson powered down ten kills for a .588 hitting percentage…Heffernan sits third in the ECC in digs per set with 4.78 and leads the Mavericks with 172…Runge continues to pace the offense with 7.47 assists per set, ranking first on the squad…Olson has totaled a team-high 147 kills so far this season. |

| Saint Anselm lost just one member of last season's team that missed out on the postseason by two matches…two freshman join the 2016 squad, the team went 9-15 overall and 5-9 in the conference in 2015…Saint Anselm tied for 10th in the Northeast-10 conference last season…the Hawks welcome back their top-four players in terms of kills per set last season in outside hitters Katy Teets, Sarah Lowery, right side Brennah Gladwill and middle blocker Amanda Williams…sophomore setter Jewel Hays is back as well as the defensive duo of CC Chrisom and Danielle Isbell…the Hawks have put together an impressive showing thus far, they sit at 14-2 overall and 5-1 in the league, good for third place…they won five straight before dropping their first match to East Stroudsburg on September 10…since the loss they put together nine consecutive wins before losing to first-place (NE-10) Bentley this past Tuesday, in a battle of the unbeaten teams in the conference…Teets led Saint Anselm with 11 kills, five aces, five digs and three block assists…her 11 kills moved her into the program's top-10 in career kills, as she now sits ninth with 643…freshman Madison Sollows ranks second in hitting percentage with .331 and fourth in blocks per set with 1.04 in the NE-10, she is third on the team in kills (115)…Lowery and Hays rank third(.45) and fourth(.44) in service aces per set in the league respectively…Teets and Williams have led the Hawks offense with 124 and 123 total kills…Hays continues to pace all offensive efforts with a team-high 424 total assists…also, she has added 125 season digs, ranking second behind the leader Chrisom, who has tallied 255. |
