Daemen's total pinfallĀ 4,114 and Baker scoring average of 164.6 pins per game placed them sixth out of the 10 competing teams today. Nationally-ranked Adelphi University went 4-1 and claimed the tournament title with a total pinfall of 4,382. Wildcat victories today came against Saint Thomas Aquinas College (825-542), New Jersey City University (896-785) and Saint Peter's University (816-738). The win over Saint Peter's was Daemen'sĀ second in as many days. The Wildcats suffered defeats today against Franklin Pierce University (853-826) and Long Island University Post (813-751). The results today push Daemen'sĀ record to 30-12, extending their program record for wins in a season.Ā Freshman Katlyn Newberry (Rochester, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with a 16.38 pins-per-frame scoring average while playing in all 50 frames today. Sophomore Rachel Steele (Rensselaer, N.Y.) and freshman Alex HasiotisĀ (Rochester, N.Y.) also contributed. Steele posted a 16.08 pins-per-frame average over 46 frames, and HasiotisĀ chipped in with a 15.47 pins-per-frame average in 44 frames.
