The Wildcats opened things up with an 878-865 victory, but Medaille evened up the night's action with an 879-825 win. The Mavericks then finished things off by taking a best-of-seven Baker series 4-1 (146-135, 147-133, 199-176, 158-218, 191-153) in the finale. Sophomore Rachel Steele (Rensselaer, N.Y.) and freshman Adrianna Pencek (Dunkirk, N.Y.) paced the Wildcats this evening. Steele posted rounds of 193 and 200 in the first two matches tonight, while Pencek posted a team-best round of 201. In the best-of-seven Baker series, redshirt junior Kaitlyn O'Hara (Clarence Center, N.Y.) posted a team-best 18.7 pins-per-frame scoring average, while Steele contributed 17.3 pins per frame. Tonight's results push Daemen's season record to 19-6. The Wildcats had been idle since sweeping a three-match set from St. Vincent College in early December, giving them an 18-4 record at the completion of the fall season, a mark that already established a new team record for wins in a season. Medaille, a member of NCAA Division III and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, moved to 53-32 on the season following tonight's matches. Daemen next competes on Saturday, February 17 when they visit Penn State Behrend. Print Friendly Version Players Mentioned #17 Kaitlyn O'Hara 5' 0" Redshirt Junior #61 Rachel Steele 5' 3" Sophomore #15 Adrianna Pencek 5' 4" Freshman Players Mentioned #17 Kaitlyn O'Hara 5' 0" Redshirt Junior #61 Rachel Steele 5' 3" Sophomore #15 Adrianna Pencek 5' 4" Freshman
