Women's Bowling Takes Two Of Three Matches From Saint Vincent

LANCASTER, N.Y. - The Daemen College women's bowling team won two of three matches against Saint Vincent College this afternoon at Lancaster Lanes. The Wildcats opened the day with an 835-834 win in a traditional match. The final two matches were scored using the Baker total pin fall format. Saint Vincent took match two (884-819), before Daemen closed out the day with a 905-891 win in match three.

Daemen is now 28-26 this season, while Saint Vincent goes to 24-4.  Daemen has now won seven of eight matches against Saint Vincent in the all-time series between the two schools.

Freshman Paige Bartosz (West Seneca, N.Y.) rolled a team-high 186 during Daemen's win in the traditional match. Juniors Alex Hasiotis (Rochester, N.Y.) and Adrianna Pencek (Dunkirk, N.Y.) also turned in strong efforts for the Wildcats with scores of 185 and 182 respectively. Sophomore Christina Aldridge (Webster, N.Y.) and junior Megan Kidder (Akron, N.Y.) also competed during the traditional match. Aldridge bowled a 142, while Kidder posted a 140.

Daemen is idle until Dec. 6 when it closes out the fall portion of its 2019-20 season by hosting rival Roberts Wesleyan College.
