QUESTION & ANSWER
Q: What is the earliest memory you have playing your sport?
A: When I was in the fourth grade and my best friend just moved away, I remember I had nothing to do at recess so I decided to pick up a basketball and try it out. I fell in love with the game ever since then.

Q: What person or persons has made the biggest impact on your life and how?
A: I would say my high school coaches, Jermaine Holness and Joram Campbell. They've both taught me so many lessons over the years, not only with basketball but with life as well. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

Q: At what moment did you know you were choosing to attend Daemen?
A: It was after one of the many phone calls and text messages that I got from Coach MacDonald while being quarantined in Houston last spring that I knew I wanted to attend Daemen.

Q: Who is the teammate you are closest with? What activities do you enjoy doing together?
A: Being new to Daemen, I've gotten close with Patrick Higgins, Joey Atkins and Ryan Salzberg. We usually like to hangout, go out to eat and workout.

Q: Who was your childhood idol and why?
A: Growing up, my idol was Kobe Bryant. He was such an amazing basketball player and seeing how relentlessly hard he worked really made me want to do the same.

Q: What is the best advice you ever received and from who?
A: The best advice I've ever received would probably be from my parents. They always tell me, " God would never put you in a situation that you can't handle. God has a plan for everyone, you just have to have trust and have faith that it'll all workout in the end."

Q: What professional sports teams or athletes do you root for?
A: I root for the Houston Rockets and Houston Texans. I'm also a fan of Lebron James and Lamar Jackson.

Q: What has been your favorite academic course at Daemen so far, and why?
A: So far my favorite course has been marketing and e-commerce. I've always liked marketing and I have a great professor for the course too.

Q: Do you have any pets?
A: No, I don't, but I want a dog soon.

Q: Where did you take your most memorable vacation? Where is a vacation destination that you haven't visited, but definitely plan to in the future?
A: My most memorable vacation would probably have to be going to Disney World with my family. And I've never been to the Bahamas or Cancun. I definitely plan to visit those places in the future.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your sport? What is your least favorite thing about your sport? Why?
A: My favorite thing about basketball is how the game can take you to places you never thought you'd ever see. Growing up, I never thought that I'd be playing basketball in Canada someday, like I did for high school. I also love the brotherhood that it creates. I don't have a least favorite thing about basketball, I love everything about it.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: In 10 years, I see myself finishing up my professional basketball career and going into coaching.
