Student-Athlete Spotlight: Aryana Dreyer

Throughout the fall semester, daemenwildcats.com will feature a Student-Athlete Spotlight series to introduce you to current student-athletes from the college's 17 varsity athletic teams. Today's featured student-athlete is Aryana Dreyer of the women's soccer team.

ARYANA DREYER QUICK BIO

Aryana Dreyer is a senior midfielder on the Daemen women's soccer team. Over the past three seasons, Dreyer has appeared in 41 contests and made four starts while helping the Wildcats achieve a 28-19-5 overall record. Dreyer picked up the primary assist on Kaylyn Phillips' game-winning goal in overtime at St. Thomas Aquinas on Sept. 16, 2017. She recorded a career-high two assists during the 2019 season in which the Wildcats made their NCAA tournament debut.

A native of Orchard Park, N.Y. and graduate of Orchard Park High School, Dreyer is studying adolescent education with a specialization in social studies.

My favorite thing about soccer is being able to meet new people from all around the world and playing a sport we all love no matter how different our backgrounds are. Soccer is such a thinking game as well, and everyone has to work as a unit.
