Over his first three seasons in the program, Lecceadone has appeared in 19 games and totaled nearly 1,300 minutes between the pipes while making 87 saves. He set career-highs for minutes (649:48) and saves (51) last season. He appeared in nine games as a freshman, helping the Wildcats tie the program record for wins in a season. Lecceadone came to Daemen as a member of the program's 2017 recruiting class after leading Randolph Central (N.Y.) to its first sectional championship since 1989. He was a two-time team captain and was named to the All-Western New York Small Schools First Team as well as the Co-Defensive MVP of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association.   QUESTION & ANSWER Q: What is the earliest memory you have playing your sport? A: I first started playing soccer in seventh grade. I used to play football, but when I got into middle school I decided to switch and tryout to be the goalkeeper for the modified team. I was horrible at first but it grew on me. Q; Excluding your parents, what person or persons has made the biggest impact on your life and how? A: Dave Levandowski, my high school varsity coach. In high school he would push me to be my best and he taught me how to be a leader and use my voice. Once I started playing in college he would text me about my games and give me insight from an outside perspective on when I could do better.  Q: At what moment did you know you were choosing to attend Daemen? A: The moment I walked into the Academic and Wellness Center towards the end of my campus tour. The facilities for the physical therapy program had me absolutely hooked. Q: Who is the teammate you are closest with? What activities do you enjoy doing together? A: Derek Mancuso. We have been living together for the past few years so we have done a lot together. We enjoy going to a field and knocking a ball around, or playing video games like 2K, Warzone, or UFC. Q: Who was your childhood idol and why? A: My brother, Seth. I always wanted to hangout with him and his friends and play football or basketball with him. He helped shape me into the athlete and person I am today. Q: What is the best advice you ever received and from who? A: The best advice I've ever received was from a goalkeeper coach I used to work with back home. He would always say to play free and live free. The more you worry the more it takes a toll on you mentally. Q: What professional sports teams or athletes do you root for? A: New York Yankees, Buffalo Sabres, New York Knicks, New England Patriots.  Q: Do you have any pets? A: Yes, I have a small dog named Potsy. Q: Where did you take your most memorable vacation? Where is a vacation destination that you haven't visited, but definitely plan to in the future? A: My most memorable vacation was this past spring break with my family to Disney World. In the future, I'd like to go somewhere out of the United States, such as going to a few countries in Europe. Q: What is your favorite thing about your sport? What is your least favorite thing about your sport? Why? A: My favorite thing about soccer is that you could just grab any 11 players and go out and play and have a good time. My least favorite thing about it is getting scored on because why would you enjoy being scored on. Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? A: In 10 years I hope to be a physical therapist, hopefully in a state like Florida but location isn't too important to me, and beginning to start a family.
