#5 NSU Sharks Take A Bite Out Of Wildcats

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Daemen College women's tennis team played the second of a three-match swing through Florida today, falling to highly-touted Nova Southeastern University by a 7-0 final score. 

Daemen saw their overall record drop to 1-12 this season. The Wildcats opened their Florida excursion with a 7-0 loss yesterday to Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach. 

The NSU Sharks, ranked No. 5 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division II national poll, won their third-straight match and improved to 12-1 on the season. The Sharks compete in the powerful Sunshine State Conference and are believed to be the highest ranked team ever faced in Daemen's eight-year program history.
