ATLANTA, Ga. - Senior forward Caroline White (Fairport, N.Y.) and junior forward Katie Titus (Penfield, N.Y.) of Daemen College has been named an honorable mention All-Americans by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). The announcement was made in a press release today. White and Titus are the first players during Daemen's NCAA era (2015-present) to garner All-American accolades.

Appearing in all 16 of Daemen's games this season, White is the 2020-21 East Coast Conference Player of the Year. She's producing 14.9 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 44% from the field and 37% from three-point range.

The 5-foot-11 forward has posted five double-doubles this season, including a 13-point, 16-rebound performance in last week's East Regional final in which she helped the Wildcats to a 58-40 victory over long-time rival Roberts Wesleyan. The win propelled Daemen into the program's first-ever Elite Eight appearance where they face top-seeded Lubbock Christian at the Greater Columbus (Ohio) Convention Center this evening. White also scored her 1,000th career point in Daemen's defeat of Roberts Wesleyan, becoming the 26th player in program history to reach the milestone. In 97 career games, White has made 71 starts and totaled 1,012 points and 580 rebounds.

Titus was named the Most Outstanding Player of the East Regional after totaling 22 points, including 5-for-8 shooting from three-point range in the win over RWC. Titus has scored in double figures 13 times in 16 games this season and has posted a pair of double-doubles. She's scoring a team-high 15.1 points per game and also contributing 8.2 rebounds per contest. Her 45 three-pointers lead the Wildcats.

Titus, who earned All-ECC first team honors for the second time in her career, has appeared in all 72 games over the last three seasons. She's made 64 starts and accumulated 949 points, 566 rebounds and 126 blocked shots.

White, Titus and the 14-2 Wildcats look to knock off the unbeaten LCU Lady Chaparrals (20-0) in tonight's national quarterfinal game with tip-off slated for 6 p.m. The game is being streamed live on ncaa.com
