MEN'S SOCCER (2-2-0, 1-0-0 ECC) Game #5: vs. Mercyhurst Wednesday, Sept. 22 11:30 AM Williamsville, N.Y. Game #6: at Dist. Columbia Saturday, Sept. 25 2 PM Washington, D.C. After four straight road games, Daemen makes its home debut this week by hosting Mercyhurst in a non-conference matchup. They'll close the week by heading back on the road for a conference game at District of Columbia. The Wildcats are coming off their best outing of the season as they scored a 4-1 victory over crosstown rival D'Youville in the conference opener for both squads. Junior forward Christian Lewin scored a pair of goals to lead the way.   WOMEN'S SOCCER (2-3-0, 1-0-0 ECC) Game #6: at Lincoln (Pa.) Sunday, Sept. 26 11 AM Lincoln University, Pa. Daemen will look for their second straight victory when they travel to Lincoln (Pa.) for a conference game this weekend. In two prior conference meetings with the Lions dating back to 2018, Daemen has outscored them 16-1. The Wildcats are coming off a 3-1 win at D'Youville - the first-ever meeting as conference foes between the two WNY programs. Tatyjana Scalisi scored a goal and added two assists in the win.   WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL (5-5, 0-0 ECC) Match #11: at Queens (N.Y.) Saturday, Sept. 25 1 PM Flushing, N.Y. Match #12: at Molloy Sunday, Sept. 26 11 AM Rockville Centre, N.Y. Match #13: vs. Southern Connecticut St. Sunday, Sept. 26 1 PM Rockville Centre, N.Y. It's another three-match weekend for the Wildcats as they open conference play with a downstate road trip. The Wildcats face conference foes Queens (N.Y.) and Molloy before wrapping up the weekend with a non-conference, neutral site contest vs. Southern Connecticut State (played at Molloy). Daemen posted a 1-2 record at the Redhawks Tournament held at Roberts Wesleyan this past weekend, suffering grueling five-set losses to two of the Northeast-10 Conference's upper-echelon teams (New Haven & American International), before rebounding with a four-set victory over Stonehill. Graduate student Caitlyn Meyer and sophomore Olivia Alessi were each named to the All-Tournament Team.   WOMEN'S TENNIS (2-1, 0-0 ECC) Match #4: at Post Friday, Sept. 24 3 PM Waterbury, Conn. Match #5: at Molloy Saturday, Sept. 25 12 PM Rockville Centre, N.Y. Daemen is back in dual match action after participating in the prestigious ITA East Region Championship this past weekend. Sophomore Frida Rubio paced the Wildcats in the tournament, advancing to the singles draw round of 16. She'll lead the team into a non-conference match Friday at Post, followed by their conference opener Saturday at Molloy.   MEN'S & WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY Meet #3: Harry F. Anderson Invitational Saturday, Sept. 25 10 AM Rochester, N.Y. Daemen's harriers return to racing after a hiatus last weekend. The Wildcats are coming off strong showings at their own meet, the Daemen Duels, on Sept. 11. Redshirt senior Kassandra Nolet paced the Wildcat women, winning their 5K race and leading Daemen to their second team title in as many races this season. Sophomore Jon Moote was the winner of the men's 8K, helping Daemen place second in the team standings. The Harry F. Anderson Invitational on the campus of Roberts Wesleyan has been a staple on Daemen's schedule going back nearly two decades. It will be the largest meet of the season to date with several regionally-ranked teams in the field.   WOMEN'S TRIATHLON Triathlon #2: Ohio Fall Challenge Sunday, Sept. 26 8:15 AM Mt. Sterling, Ohio Daemen's triathletes get their second opportunity to compete this season when they head to the Ohio Fall Challenge. The Wildcats have been idle since competing at the Collegiate Triathlon National Qualifier in Pleasant Prairie, Wisc. on Sept. 4.
