ON THE ROAD AGAIN
The Daemen University women's volleyball team hits the road this weekend for a three-game slate in the final weeks of the regular season. The Wildcats travel to Albany, N.Y. to play Saint Rose of the Northeast-10 Conference in a non-conference match on Friday night at 6 PM before heading towards the Big Apple to resume East Coast Conference play. Daemen will face Queens on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM, and then travel to Rockville Centre, N.Y. to take on Molloy in a Sunday matinee 11 AM match to wrap up the weekend on the road. Friday's match against Saint Rose will be the second to last non-conference tilt of the season for the Wildcats, who just fell to Gannon on Tuesday 1-3 at Lumsden Gym to move their non-conference record to 7-4 on the season. The Wildcats swept both Queens and Molloy earlier this season. Daemen has won 19 straight conference matches, and owns a 53-3 record in sets during ECC regular season play, dating back to the start of the 2021 season.

PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
The Wildcats have the opportunity to clinch the regular season championship and the No. 1 seed in the ECC Tournament this weekend. If Daemen beats Queens on Saturday and Molloy on Sunday and Mercy loses to Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, the Wildcats can clinch the top spot. If Mercy beats Roberts Wesleyan, the Wildcats will have to wait until their match against Roberts next Wednesday, Oct. 26 and can clinch with a win over the Red Hawks.
