NOTES
- Daemen is now 2-2 during the spring portion of its 2021-22 season. The Wildcats have won two in a row and were competing for the first time since a 9-0 win at Houghton on March 9.
- Tonight's match marked the first-ever meeting between the Wildcats and Hornets.
- After Shenandoah took a 2-1 lead coming out of doubles play, the Wildcats jumped back ahead thanks to the singles victories of Stasiuk, Scime and Del Leon. Lewis' win on the sixth singles court evened the match at 4-4, but Schayes came through with her second three-set win of the season to clinch it for the Wildcats.
- Stasiuk remained unbeaten in singles play this spring and improved to 8-5 in singles play on the year. She now has 16 combined singles/doubles wins this season, tied with Rubio for the team lead. She also inched further up Daemen's career wins lists. Stasiuk now has 83 combined singles/doubles wins - just one shy of tying Gretchen Ringler for second all-time. Stasiuk's singles win tonight was the 47th of her career which equals the program record set by Hayle Scanlan during her four-year career (2013-17).
- Scime improved to 3-1 this spring and 7-8 overall in singles play. She ranks third on the team with 13 combined singles/doubles wins this season.
- Daemen is now 2-0 in matches decided by a single point this season. It was their first such match since a 4-3 defeat of RIT in the season opener on Sept. 7.
