Women's Volleyball Grounds Redhawks 3-0

The Wildcats Have Topped Thruway Rival Roberts Wesleyan In 15 Straight Matches

AMHERST, N.Y. – The Daemen University women's volleyball team remained perfect in East Coast Conference play, besting Roberts Wesleyan 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-22) in a midweek Thruway Rivalry matchup. This is the 54th meeting between the longtime rivals, and the fifteenth straight Daemen victory over Roberts (dating back to October 14, 2015).

The Wildcats have swept opponents nine times in their 10-3 season and extend their regular season conference winning streak to 16 matches with the win. Daemen moves to 48-1 in sets during ECC regular season play since the beginning of the 2021 season. The Redhawks account for Daemen's one set loss during that streak, handing the Wildcats a 25-19 third-set loss on Sept. 30, 2021.

Daemen opens up ECC play with a 4-0 start for the third time in five seasons (the ECC did not field a conference schedule during the 2020 season).
