Wildcats Earn Seventh Sweep Of The Season With 3-0 Takedown Of FDU

AMHERST, N.Y. – The Daemen University men's volleyball team remained perfect in Northeast Conference play with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-22) win over Fairleigh Dickinson University on Friday night. The Wildcats move to 13-3 on the season and 7-0 in NEC play, while FDU drops to a 4-13 overall record and 1-6 in conference action.

This marked the seventh 3-0 sweep for the Wildcats this season, with four of those sweeps coming at Lumsden Gymnasium. Daemen's 16-match home win streak is the second-longest active win streak in NCAA Division I-II men's volleyball. Division I Independent Lincoln Memorial has the longest active streak spanning 25 matches.

The Wildcats finished with 38 kills for a .478 hitting percentage in the match and held the Knights to just 22 total kills for a .087 hitting percentage on the day. It marked the third lowest opponent hitting percentage for the Wildcats this season.
