Daemen Athletics Pays Tribute The Best of 2023-24 at Wildcat Night Of Honors

AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen University Division of Athletics celebrated a successful season this evening at the 2024 Wildcat Night of Honors held on campus. The annual event recognizes the achievements of the university's intercollegiate teams and student-athletes.

Major awards were presented to Zach Schneider (Male Athlete of the Year) of men's volleyball, Alahna Paige (Female Athlete of the Year) of women's basketball, CJ Johnson of men's cross country/track & field (Male Newcomer of the Year) and Charlotte Koerber (Female Newcomer of the Year) of women's volleyball.

Additional division-wide awards presented included the Sports Medicine P.R.I.D.E. Award and the C.L.A.W. Award.

The P.R.I.D.E. Award was presented to women's lacrosse player Camryn Day for best demonstrating perseverance, resilience, integrity, determination and expectations of excellence during her injury rehabilitation process.

Maggie Burns of women's volleyball received the C.L.A.W. Award, presented annually to the graduating senior student-athlete who best exemplifies character, leadership, academic achievement and work ethic.
