AMHERST, N.Y. — The East Coast Conference released its women's basketball preseason honors on Monday. Daemen topped the preseason poll, and Claire Pikett (Holland, N.Y.) was named ECC Preseason Player of the Year.
The Wildcats are coming off their fourth consecutive ECC Championship last season after finishing with a 22-8 record (15-1 ECC) and reaching the NCAA Regional Semifinals for the second straight season.
