Pikett Garners ECC Player of the Week Honors 1/26/2026 1:15:00 PM By: CONTACT: Connor Griffin, Assistant Director of Athletics Communications | cgriffin@daemen.edu AMHERST, N.Y. — The East Coast Conference released its weekly awards on Monday, with Claire Pikett (Holland, N.Y.) being named Player of the Week. Pikett posted a career-high 26 points on 59% shooting (10-of-17) and 67% from beyond the arc (6-of-9), helping Daemen defeat rival D'Youville. Defensively, she posted five steals and two blocks, while grabbing one rebound. Pikett helped the Wildcats force 26 turnovers from the Saints and held D'Youville to 45 points. Pikett posted her fourth straight game with four or more steals and her ninth game with multiple blocks The senior currently leads the ECC in steals (64) and steals per game (3.6). She also sits fifth in blocks with 27. Pikett is tied for 10th in scoring (12.9 PPG), sixth in 3-point field goals made (25), and tied for 17th in rebounding (5.6 RPG). This is the fourth time this season that Pikett has earned a weekly honor from the league and the second time in three weeks after being named Co-Player of the Week on Jan. 12.
