AMHERST, N.Y. -- For the 26th consecutive semester, the Daemen University Division of Athletics accumulated a 3.0+ term grade point average, finishing with a 3.25 GPA over the spring 2026 semester. On top of having a successful 2026 spring on the court, field, and track, 15 Daemen teams also posted a 3.0 or better spring GPA in the spring.
An impressive 17 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester. Those with perfect semesters are from a broad cross section of the student-athlete body with 13 of Daemen's 17 intercollegiate athletic programs represented. Teams with 4.0 student athletes include men's cross country, men's indoor track & field, men's outdoor track & field, men's soccer, men's tennis, women's cross country, women's indoor track & field, women's outdoor track & field, women's bowling, women's lacrosse, women's volleyball, as well as cheerleading/spirit squad.
A total of 164 student athletes individually achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the semester. That represents 71-percent of Daemen's total student-athlete body. In addition, 100 student-athletes (43.5% of total) achieved a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. At the conclusion of the Spring 2026 semester, 136 student-athletes (59% of total) hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, with 75 student-athletes (33% of total) holding a 3.50 GPA or higher.
Daemen's student-athletes have a fall and spring average of 3.25 for the 2025-26 school year.
15 of Daemen's 17 intercollegiate athletic programs achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better this past semester.
