AMHERST, N.Y. -- It's New York State Athletic Training Recognition Week! Athletic trainers are the backbone of sports, and are rarely recognized for the hard work they put in to keep athletes healthy, safe, and ready compete on the court, field, pitch, course and track.

The Daemen University Department of Athletics goes behind the scenes with our four athletic trainers, Jeff Sage, Zach Morris, Alicia Loh and Molly Dineen, to get a small glimpse of what the Sports Medicine staff does for our Wildcat student athletes on a day-to-day basis.
