The Daemen University Archery Club is a registered member within the U.S.A. Archery Collegiate Club Program. The club offers Daemen students the opportunity to learn
and develop their skills in the sport of archery. The team is headed by a U.S.A. Archery Level 2 Certified Instructor, overseeing weekly practices and the development of team members
in their equipment and safety knowledge, overall shooting technique, and general sport mastery.
Participation on the team is open to all interested and committed students at the beginning of each semester, regardless of skill level. The team carries a wide range of sport knowledge while offering a comprehensive and inclusive experience to all participants.
Students on the team can enjoy the sport recreationally or actively prepare for collegiate archery program events, including local, state and national tournaments. USA Archery Virtual Tournaments also offer the chance to test one's skills against archers across the country without leaving the Daemen campus. Achievement awards, academic honors, and All-American accolades are also available to qualified archers.
Students interested in committing to the team for the duration of the semester are required to carry a minimum of three credit hours, submit a completed Physical Form,
and pay the club dues. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact Club President, Dakota Gold, at Dakota.Gold@Daemen.edu and/or
Director of Recreation and Wellness, Bret Stothart, at bstothar@Daemen.edu.
