Thanks to a comprehensive partnership between DaemenĀ and the Town of Amherst, Royal Park is the primary site for the Daemen men's and women's soccer teams as of the 2025 season.Ā This TOA property underwent a nearly $10 million improvement project, beginning in June 2024, and includes not only a synthetic turf soccer/lacrosse field with seating for 250 spectators, but also lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts, walking trail, playground and splash pad.Ā

LOCATION (187 ROYAL PARKWAY WEST, AMHERST, NY 14221Ā // GOOGLE MAPS)
Royal Park is located less than 2 miles from Daemen's Main Street campus.Ā
Ā  Ā
BUS DROP OFF/PICK UP & SPECTATOR PARKING
All vehicles coming to Daemen sporting events at Royal Park are encouraged to utilize South Forest Road and turn onto Queen Place which runs directly into the Royal Park parking lot. All team buses are required to enter the area this way.Ā Visiting teams are asked to report any arrival/departure times to the Daemen Athletics operations/facilities staff so they may be prepared to greet and assist.Ā
Ā  Ā
LOCKER ROOMS
There are 2 locker rooms for competing teams located inside the Royal Park fieldhouse. Please note that for instances of doubleheaders, locker room space will be designated for Daemen teams only. In these instances, visiting teams are encouraged to arrive at the facility dressed and ready for the game; visiting teamsĀ  may request locker rooms at Lumsden Gymnasium for post-game purposes, however, availability of those spaces cannot be guaranteed as they are subject to other athletic events taking place on campus.

If available, locker rooms on site will be reserved and available two hours prior to game time, the duration of the game and up to one hour after the game.Ā Inside the locker room there will be a whiteboard with markers and lockers for your use.

Please note that if your team chooses to shower after the game, NO towels will be provided. We ask each visiting team to be respectful of these spaces and to treat them as if they were their own.Ā

Also, please note that public restrooms are available at west end of the Royal Park fieldhouse

SMOKING & ALCOHOL POLICY
Royal Park is a smoke-free and alcohol-free facility. No tailgating is permitted. Those found to be in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the facility.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

ToĀ maintain a safe and welcoming campus for all faculty, staff, students and visitors, the Daemen Division of Athletics has enacted a "No Pet" Policy at all campus athletics venues.Ā No animals areĀ permitted in within the confines of outdoor athletics facilities during any organized activity (including, but not limited to, athletic events, alumni gatherings, concerts, and intramural activities) in which students, spectators or guests are invited to gather.Ā "Confines" includes viewing standsĀ and any area that might be used by guests to observe or participate in the event.Ā  While we appreciate that pets mayĀ provide comfort to many individuals, the risks of behavioral unpredictability, health concerns and disruption require the restriction of pets in these areas.Ā

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal has been trained to perform specific tasks to assist a person with a disability. It is important to note that these animals are working, and not pets. As you encounter service dogs, please refrain from distracting the animal by petting, calling, or feeding it.Ā
Ā
Service dogs are permitted to accompany their handlers at Royal Park. Service animals must be under the control of their handlers either with a leash, harness, through voice or other signals, and are not required to wear vests.Ā
