Fearless, Integrity, Effort, Respect, Commitment, Excitement

Kyle Harman

Kyle Harman enters his second season as Head Men's Golf Coach in 2018-19.  A 2013 graduate of the college, Harman was named head coach on May 17, 2017. He returns to his alma mater and the program for which he played as a collegiate student-athlete from 2011-13, helping the team capture the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship as a senior.

This will be Harman's first foray into the coaching scene, but he's no stranger to amateur golf having competed in three New York State Amateur Tournaments, in addition to his collegiate career.  A native of Orchard Park, N.Y., Harman posted a team-best 76.1 stroke average during his senior season for Daemen, and is the current record-holder for low score (64) at Crag Burn Golf Club in East Aurora.

"I'm very excited about this opportunity to return to Daemen, and to lead the men's golf program," said Harman.  "My experience as a Daemen student-athlete really helped shape the person I am today, and I look forward to providing the same kind of experience to the current players and future recruits.  It will be challenging just getting myself up to speed on all the changes that have happened at the college and specifically within the athletic department since I was here as a student, but I believe we have an incredible opportunity to be a program that makes a positive impact on the college."

The Daemen men's golf team competes as an independent member of NCAA Division II and the East Region.

Harman, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Daemen, works full-time as a logistics planner for Praxair, Inc.
