Biography
2025 (SOPHOMORE)
Second Team All-NEC... started 18 matches... led the Wildcats and ranked second in the NEC with 8.99 assists/set (602 total)... ranked fifth on the team with 33 blocks (0.49 blocks/set)... finished fourth on the team with 100 digs (1.49 digs/set)... added 27 kills and nine aces on the year... had a career-high 45 assists against LIU on March 28... posted a double-double with 35 assists and 15 digs in the NEC semifinals against LIU on April 25... served as Daemen's primary setter throughout conference play and helped set the Wildcats to an average of 11.75 kills per set... helped Daemen win the program's second consecutive NEC Tournament Title along with a 15-13 overall record and 4-4 record in NEC regular season play... earned the conference's first ever automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where the Wildcats hosted No. 20 Penn State University at Lumsden Gymnasium for the opening round of the NC Tournament.
2024 (FRESHMAN)
Started in two matches and appeared in six sets... totaled 43 assists to average 7.17 assists per set... posted five digs, two kills and two blocks this season... posted a career-high 24 assists (8 assists per set) in his collegiate debut against AIC on Jan. 20... helped Daemen to a 20-6 overall record and the program's first NEC Tournament Championship... finished second in NEC regular season play (9-3)... set a program record for wins (20)... helped the Wildcats to the program's first AVCA Top-25 ranking.Â
BEFORE DAEMEN
A four-year varsity setter for the Lake Nona Lions under the direction of head volleyball coach Tammy Lafayette... earned MVP honors as a junior... ranked in the top three in assists and aces in the Lake Nona school records... favorite high school memory is beating the previous five-time district champions... played club volleyball for the Orlando Gold.Â

Born Jariel Alfredo Giraud on Feb. 14, 2005 in West Palm Beach, Fla. ... son of Alfredo and Nydia Giraud... has two siblings, Giselle and Jarielys Giraud... Giselle plays for the Daemen women's volleyball team... majoring in Pre-Medicine... decided to attend Daemen because "of the culture."
