Started in 8 of 9 matches played… helped Daemen to a 17-9 overall record and a 9-3 mark in ECC play… 2024 ECC regular season champions… season ended in the NCAA East Region quarterfinals against Georgian Court… totaled 18 kills, 13 blocks, 8 digs and 1 assist… recorded a season-high 5 kills against Molloy on Oct 6.
2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
Part of Daemen's 26-6 overall record and the Wildcats' third straight undefeated East Coast Conference season (12-0)... 2023 ECC Tournament champions... season ended in the NCAA East Regional final loss to Bentley… appeared in 12 matches and 30 sets... totaled 31 kills and averaged 1.03 kills per set... finished with 13 total blocks (0.43 blocks/set)... recorded a season-high 9 kills against D’Youville on Nov. 9
BEFORE DAEMEN
A two-year varsity player for the Penn High School Kingsmen under head coach Lisa Pawlik... she led the team in blocks in her sophomore and senior seasons (2020 & 2022), earned the team's Most Improved Award in 2021 and earned Northern Indiana Conference honorable mention as a senior... in her four years in high school volleyball, she helped lead her freshman team to an undefeated season, helped Penn to a second place finish in conference as a senior and led the Kingsmen to a conference championship and the State Final Four... played club volleyball for the Northern Indiana Volleyball Association and was named to the JVA Watch List in both 17s and 18s seasons... graduated Cum Laude from Penn High School... earned academic honors diploma, and was also academic all-conference and academic all-state.

Born Kate Collette Trueblood on Sept. 8, 2004 in Newburgh, Ind. ... daughter of Cheryl and Noah Trueblood... stepdaughter of Jill Trueblood... has two older siblings, Peyton Seida and Cameron Trueblood, and two step-siblings, Lauren and Noah Strefling... hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, watching movies and shopping... bucket list items are going to Europe, going on more cruises, and seeing Taylor Swift in concert... majoring in Elementary Education... dream job is to be an elementary school principal... chose to attend Daemen because "of the great academics, the team culture, and the awesome coaching staff."
