HIGH SCHOOL: Lockport COACH: Bill Shaw was named the Niagara Frontier League 'Player-of-the-Year' and a 2nd-team All-Western New York selection as she averaged 17.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game her senior year... after suffering a few serious injuries throughout her career, she came back her senior year to lead Lockport to a 16-6 overall record and the Niagara Frontier League title...was also named 9th-team All-State for Class AA and was the Lockport Union-Sun and Journal 'Player-of-the-Year'....was named her senior class 'Athlete-of-the-Year'...scored 950 points and grabbed 559 rebounds in her 65 game career...Scholar-Athlete PERSONAL: born November 21, 1988...daughter of Patrick and Becky Burke...sidter to Andrea (31) and Lindsey (19)...enjoys shopping, watching soap operas and long walks on the beach
