Choose a Staff Member: Go Geoff Schneider Kallie Banker Title Assistant Coach Email mbanker@daemen.edu Daemen Tenure 2017-Present (4th Season) Alma Mater Rhode Island '15 / Vermont '16 / Buffalo '20 One of the top up-and-coming young coaches in the country, Kallie Banker begins her fifth season season as Daemen's lead assistant coach in 2022-23. Since coming on staff, Banker has played an integral role in the development of seven all-conference players while helping the Wildcats emerge as a top program within the East Coast Conference and NCAA Division II East Region. Prior to coming to Daemen, Banker played at the Division I level for the University of Rhode Island. A starter for two different coaches at Rhode Island, she also earned Atlantic 10 Academic Weekly honor roll awards and tied the single game assist record. She was also a starter as a graduate transfer at the University of Vermont. Banker enjoyed a standout prep career at Grand Island High School, where she was the school’s Athlete of the Year in each of her four years. She led the girls basketball team to three straight Section VI Class A championships and finished her basketball career as the all-time leading scorer - male or female - at GIHS with 1,700 career points. Banker was a four-time All-Western New York selection, a three-time All-State honoree and was named the The Buffalo News Player of the Year as a junior and senior. In addition to her coaching duties, Banker is currently a third-year law student at the University of Buffalo.
