McKenzie Bezon

McKenzie Bezon enters her second season as a member of the women's basketball coaching staff in 2019-20. Bezon comes to Daemen after spending the 2017-18 academic year as a long-term substitute teacher for her hometown Elba (N.Y.) Central School District where she also served as the girls' junior varsity basketball coach. A 2017 graduate of St. John Fisher College, Bezon was a four-year member of the SJFC women's basketball team where she was twice named the Empire 8 Conference Sportswoman of the Year.

During her scholastic days at Elba High School, she was twice named New York State Class D Player of the Year, as well as earning Greater Rochester Player of the Year honors as a senior. She totaled 1,425 points during five varsity seasons. At Daemen, Bezon is expected to contribute to the day-to-day operations of the women's basketball program, while also assisting with on-floor coaching.
