HIGH SCHOOL: East Aurora COACH: Chris Koselny Was named New York State Class B Player-of-the-Year after leading her team to the State title...was also a 1st-team All-WNY and 1st-team All-Bee selection after averaging 18.5 points, 10.5 rebounds per game...had a dominating 31 point, 19 rebound performance in the state semi-final win over Wyandanch...was named 5th-team All-State and 3rd-team All-WNY her junior year while leading East Aurora to the Section VI Class B championship with a 22-2 record...averaged 19 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 3.2 steals, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 57% from the field her junior year...was a four-time 1st-team All-ECIC selection...scored over 1,500 points and grabbed over 1,000 rebounds during her career...was also an all-conference soccer player for two years PERSONAL: born on May 12, 1989...daughter of Steve & Kathryn Soroka...has two brothers - Stephen (30) and Jeff (27)...enjoys shopping, watching movies, & hanging out with friends
