Appeared in 14 games, averaging 5.4 minutes per contest ... averaged 1.1 points and 0.4 rebounds per game ... scored three points in 10 minutes of time vs. Bloomfield on Nov. 15 ... made two of the team's record-setting 20 three-pointers and totaled six points in a win over Queens on Jan. 10 ... played a season-high 12 minutes and grabbed three rebounds vs. Mercy on Feb. 16. 

2018-19 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in 24 of 28 games and averaged 7.1 minutes per game ... averaged 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per game ... made 10 three-pointers during the year ... played a season-high 19 minutes in an early-season 72-70 win over Roberts Wesleyan and netted eight points ... played 17 minutes in a late-season win over Mercy and established her season highs for points (9), three-pointers (3) and rebounds (5) in a game.

BEFORE DAEMEN
Played for the Beaver Area Bobcats under the guidance of coach Greg Huston ... four year starter on the varsity basketball team and three-time team captain ... as a senior she led Beaver Area to a 19-7 record, a section championship and an appearance in the championship game of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Class 4-A tournament ... the Bobcats also advanced to the second round of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) playoffs her senior year ... averaged 13 points a game as a senior and earned a spot of the Beaver County Top-22 all-star team for the second-straight year ... also collected all-district honors as a senior ... helped the team to four-straight appearances in the WPIAL playoffs and three appearances in the state tournament ... drilled 35 three-pointers and ranked third among the WPIAL leaders in scoring as a junior (15 ppg) ... also lettered in track & field (3) ... played club basketball for Drill 4 Skill...member of the Beaver Area yearbook staff and Student Activities Council...Honor roll student.

Born Sydney Lyn Barney on December 16, 1999 in Beaver, Pa. ... daughter of Tammi Lyn Barney and Bryan Paul ... siblings include Nicklaus Barney ... majoring in athletic training with a minor in entrepreneurship ... hobbies include cleaning, singing, dancing and hanging out with friends ... chose to attend Daemen because “It felt like home and was the perfect fit. I can see myself succeeding academically and athletically. A great atmosphere with welcoming and supportive coaches and teammates. So much to do, yet small enough to know everyone by name.”
