2021-22 (FRESHMAN)
2021-22 ECC regular season and postseason champions... part of team that finished with 22-win season that ended in NCAA East Regional finals... one of five Daemen players to appear in all 27 games... all appearances came as a reserve... third on the team in made three-point field goals (40) and had highest three-point percentage among all Daemen players (.404, also third among all ECC players)... sixth in total points (141), points per game (5.2), field goals made (47) and attempts (113)... seventh in total minutes (352) and minutes per game (13.0)... totaled nine points, recorded first career three-pointer in 20 minutes played against St. Anselm on Nov. 12... totaled season-high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 4-of-8 from downtown against Queens on Jan. 16... scored 17 points three games later against D'Youville on Jan. 25... drilled five three-pointers for 15-point night in 17 minutes against rival Roberts Wesleyan on Dec. 8.

Six-year varsity player for the Randolph Cardinals and coach Shawn Huntington... three-time First Team All-CCAA East I selection... Fourth Team All-NYS member as a senior... holds school records for most points scored in a single game (49)... scored 1,000th point as a sophomore... four-year captain... most memorable high school moment was "making a 3/4 court buzzer beater to get a semi-final win during my junior year. It made Hudl top plays the next day... best moment of my life!"... competed in AAU basketball with XGEN Elite / Jamestown Elite... also a four-year player for varsity girls volleyball...  member of the school's National Honor Society chapter... member of school band and Spanish club.

Born Sydney Elizabeth Hvizdzak on Oct. 20, 2003 in Jamestown, N.Y... daughter of Monica and Paul Hvizdzak... has two siblings, Andrew and Benjamin Hvizdzak... hobbies include drawing, baking, fitness and making coffee... bucket list includes going on a world tour of trying as many food trucks as possible... favorite TV shows are The Bachelor / Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise... favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog... favorite musical artists are Justin Bieber and The Band CAMINO... favorite holiday is Halloween... chose to attend Daemen because "the environment was appealing in every aspect. As soon as I got on campus and met with the coaching staff and team, I knew this was where I wanted to spend my next four years..." majoring in biology.
